Few gamers might remember the name of "Gunmanship 101" which belonged
to a mod for Quake 1. A lot has happened since those days and the end result is
something many gamers are anxiously awaiting...Gunman!
Gunmanship 101 evolved into a mod called Gunman on the Quake 2 engine and now
the final product, a Half-Life engine title. The exciting news is that we are
getting a lot more from this mod than originally planned because Gunman now
features the financial backing of Valve Software and will be a commercial
project released as a full, stand-alone project not requiring you to already
have Half-Life to play.
The visual effects, story line, and weapons make this title stand out from
the traditional Counter Strike + clones types of games we have been seeing on
the Half-Life engine lately and I will definitely have this title on my
