PCReview has made an overclocking guide for the AMD Duron CPU. Here's a little piece:
"Until 1998, Intel had always been the CPU King - no competitor (the main ones being Cyrix and AMD) could even come close to matching performance, although come good chips were produced. When AMD release the Althon CPU, the crown was lifted from Intel, and hasn't been re-gained since.
The Duron CPU (Codename Spitfire), has been on the cards since the days of the original Athlon, but once the new Socket A standard came out - so did the new CPU, the Duron. The Duron was meant to be AMD's budget CPU, costing about the same as the K6/2's. The Duron costs significantly less than the matured T-Bird (the high end CPU's), but performs only about 7% less in standard usage."

You can find it here.
