Guru3d.com has done a little investigating and after installing the latest 7.17 Detonator leaked drivers. They went into their registry and turned on a registry setting called "NV20Emulate". After enabling that and firing up Quake 3 and going to Setup -> System -> Driver Information, the name of the chip reads: "BoomBoom/emulated by GeForce 256". Surely this is some sort of internal name of the chipset but who knows what NVidia's marketing department will come up with. GeForce isn't so solid of a name in my opinion, hehe. Check out the full story here.
