Some of you might be asking what is the difference, between PC 100 and PC 133, and why should I upgrade to PC 133. Or should I even hold out for DDR ramm? Well Hardwware.OC has an article up about it. Here is a snipet from it:
If you don’t care about games and just work all day long then adding RAM helps out. Sometimes not very much but with win2k taking up so much RAM to run and of course software getting ever so bloated these days 128Mb of RAM won’t be able to cut it for too much longer. Programs that close sometimes do not return the full amount of memory they had used. Running your computer all day long sucks up a lot of memory that can't be retrieved by your system for reuse unless you restart it to clear it. This can definitely be avoided by adding more RAM to your system. Most of you can hold off on upgrading for a little while. Perhaps save your cash for DDR that should start becoming widely available in the next couple weeks.
Check out the full article here.
