Division-1, the premier manufacturer of custom carrying cases, bags, and CD wallets, today introduced its Play-Pak(TM) Backpack (PP001-PP). Designed specifically for the Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2), while also customizable for the original PlayStation and other gaming consoles, the Division-1 Play-Pak is the ultimate carrying accessory for the “never-get-enough” gaming fanatic who wants to take the action wherever they go. The Play-Pak combines the storage of a home gaming entertainment center with the mobility of a backpack. This means the user no longer has to unpack their gaming console and accessories in order to set up the system and play games once they arrive at their destination. Users can play right out of the backpack! Connect essential power, video and audio cables directly to the television via the Play-Pak’s rear zippered storage compartment, which also provides maximum “breathing” room for the PS2’s CPU fan and convenient storage of the PS2’s power adapter and cords. Open the Play-Pak’s zippered front compartment for easy access to the CD/DVD caddy and for connecting game pads and joysticks. Padded "game-ports" allow you to easily and neatly store your PlayStation 2, game pads, games, and cables. The Play-Pak features heavy duty zippers, extra wide, extra padded shoulder straps, a padded back panel for total comfort, heavy duty wire piping for rigidity, and a multi-storage game organizer for memory cards, CDs, games, and DVDs. It measures 13.5” X 17.5” X 4” and is made of indestructible rip proof, water resistant Ballistic Nylon. “The Play-Pak is the original gaming backpack,” said Richard Sherman, regional account manager at Division-1. “No other carrying accessory comes close to providing the type of functionality and protection that the Play-Pak provides. It's the ultimate insurance policy for your PS2 and other gaming consoles,” he added. The Division-1 Play-Pak Gaming Bag will be ready to ship December 15, 2000 and will have an MSRP of $49.99.
