First up is Q3Pong. This is a mod that was originally released for Quake 2 and won the PC Gamer mod competition. The object is to shoot (or push) the large ball into the opponents goal, but watch out because it will easily squish you :-) The Q3 engine provides for some really nice effects and the realistic ball physics are amazing. Next is Q3 Gridiron. Football gameplay on the Quake engine? Yep, and it rocks. The gameplay is pretty different than anything that has been seen and if you get enough guys playing, it really makes for some addictive gaming. You can grab the mod here.
