Looks like are friends in Iraq are up to something again... Buying around 4,000 Playstation 2s.

Is Worldnet Daily a reputable source? I can't remember if they are a tabloid type of news or not. One would think Iraq could get similiar chips for cheaper by going to the chip manufacturer. Maybe there are some type of export laws that the PS2 overcomes but that talk of PS2's powering AI controlled fighter planes sounds a little too much like a video game. Interesting news anyways... ------------------

Its pretty accurate, i just found it on http://pc.ign.com too, and also, there were some limits on exporting PS2s when they were first released in japan because of how powerful they are and its been in the news that the software in the PS2 is very powerful. ------------------
