x-17 told me i would have a lot more fun with a gas pistol than a spring rifle for 190$..so i took that in consideration and found what i thought of a sweet gas blowback m11 from maruzen..any objections or comments before i buy? ------------------

I concur on X's opinions that a gas blowback pistol would be a lot more fun than a spring rifle. ------------------

yeah go with the Mac-10 man...I have seen this bad boy shoot and man does it look cool! Its all metal too. much more fun than a spring rifle. Also you may want to look at the Steyr TMP or SPP because those kick ass too but they arent metal. The real ones arent though so its realistic. Mac-10 is more of a badass look while the TMP is more of a Counter-Terrorist/Special Forces look ------------------

Trust someone who had to endure 4 hours of Airsoft goodness, out in the sticks, with a spring XM117...you will not be sorry for the gas pistol.  ------------------

Gas blowbacks especially are a lot of fun. They are superior in performance then a spring rifle or pistol (duh! with the exception of some sniper spring rifles). The generated recoil is a great addition. I find it hard role-playing as a navy seal or army ranger with a gun that has no recoil, call me weird but I do. On top of that, they are fun to just target shoot in your back yard with. All and all for your current budget of $190 a spring gun/rifle would be a waste, look into gas blow backs and such, you will be glad you did. ------------------

LOL I've got alot of gas and gas blowback guns... Including the Mac10 and M11.. My mac 10 is a non-blowback, but the silencer really works and the ROF is a 1000 rounds a minute. You'd have alot more fun with any type of gas gun over a springer or AEG. ------------------

thanx for the replies guys...... i need to know if the maruzen model of the gun is metal though and a better place if possible that i could order it over the net.. and i am considering the steyer model gbb.. ------------------
