Quote - There's no doubt that the popularity of Tactical Shooter games has been on the upswing, especially with games like Team Fortress Classic and Counter Strike. In 1999, Sierra Studios released Swat 3 to much acclaim for its single-player aspect. However, the game was "crippled" from being all that it could be because of the lack of multiplayer support. Its lasting appeal only lasted as long as you didn't get tired of playing the game alone.

Nice to see the developers from Sierra getting a reward for their hard work!
