At Square's business strategy meeting in Japan, it was revealed that Final Fantasy XII is being planned for the Playstation 2. Talk about planning ahead, X and XI aren't even out yet! Apparently, Square has gone back on their decision to make all upcoming FF games online-only, like part XI, because FFXII will be "more of a standard RPG," according to GameSpot. Whatever your opinion of online role-playing (it doesn't sound like a good idea to me...), you can't help but be interested by yet another Final Fantasy.
