Namco has announced that the secret PS2 project which they previously referred to as "Project X" is in fact a role-playing game entitled Xenosaga. It's being developed by Monolith Soft, the same people who were behind the highly acclaimed (and now quite rare) RPG Xenogears on the PS One. Xenosaga is apparently aimed for a release at the end of this year.
