THQ laid out their plans for the E3 show in the press release. Here are some of the games that will be seen. Red Faction: Red Faction is set to revolutionize the gaming world with its revolutionary Geo-Mod™ system that allows players to fully destroy the game environment to alter the outcome. Developed by Volition, this "action thriller" will feature a sophisticated physics engine, five controllable vehicles and intense graphics. Red Faction is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 2 on May 22. WWF SmackDown!™"Just Bring It": Players lay the proverbial ‘SmackDown’ like never before seen in the likes of a videogame. Smackdown 3 is set to deliver to fans of the million-selling series with attitude and style to spare while making its much anticipated debut on the PS2. THQ will deliver "Just Bring It" as soon as Fall 2001. MX 2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael: "The biggest extreme sport just got bigger! Players can race like a champion, pull amazing tricks, and compete for rockstar status in freestyle mode or just cruise the open terrain." MX sports the complete MX experience touting over 30 professional riders racing over courses modeled using satellite technology. MX 2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael is set to ride all over PlayStation 2 as soon as this June. For all the bloody details, check out the press release.
