A while back, we told you that Namco was making Xenosaga, a sequel (well, prequel, actually) to the popular (yet quite rare) PSX RPG Xenogears. Now, the first bits of info on Xenosaga are starting to come out, along with some nice looking screenshots that you can see at IGN.com. Xenosaga takes place in the distant future, where mankind has abandoned Earth for space. Apparently, the game will be taking full advantage of the PS2's capabilities, as it will include details like facial animations and moving hair. As of right now, Xenosaga is set for release in Japan by the end of this year, and will be a two-DVD game, which I believe will be the first time a PS2 game has needed that much room.
