The word from ECTS is that the sequel to the extremely popular PC game Black & White will be headed to PS2, as well as XBox (and the PC, of course). The game, currently known as Black & White: Next Generation, will differ significantly from its predecessor; for one thing, you control your creature directly, rather than playing God over it. You can get the whole scoop here, at IGN.com. Also, the team working on the console version of B&W: Next Generation is different from the group working on the PC version, which hopefully will mean that we won't be getting just another great PC game turned into a not-so-great ported version.
