I just checked out the Jan 2001 issue of Computer Gaming World magazine and it had a short article entitled "To PC or not PC." It is about how many developers are leaning towards more lucrative console releases. Of interest to us R6 fans is that RSE, traditionally a PC-only developer, responded to CGW that they are now only allocating 30% of their resources to PC games. This is not surprising as the Ubi Soft announcement mentioned that RSE was the first developer to get game design approval for Microsoft's Xbox. Snicker also learned at the last E3 that RSE is making a PlayStation2 game. With the Xbox using a Windows-based OS, we will hopefully see quick PC ports of RSE's Xbox games :-) Also of note, Rogue Spear is still #10 in CGW's "Reader's Top 40," and COE was recommended as one of the "games to buy for Christmas" :-)
