Pie from Pie's Tactics has informed me that Cynical Saint has created a 17-minute long video tutorial for level creation in 3d Studio MAX. The tutorial is geared towards both beginning map makers and those looking for more efficient tips at using the program. The video was made for the anticipation of the release of the Red Storm map-making plug-ins for 3d Studio MAX. Here is what Cynical Saint has to say about the video tutorial: "It takes you step by step through the creation of two connected rooms and shows you proper naming conventions and grouping. This tutorial is filmed using 3D Studio Max version 2.5 so some program graphics may differ depending on your version."Download the video tutorial here. The video tutorial is about 17.6mb. On another note, Red Storm is planning to release the 3d Studio Max map-making plug-ins early in January. Included in these plug-ins will be a new map, the Mint, which originally released for Rainbow Six.
