Yesterday RSE sent an official "Cease and Desist" email to the creators of cheating programs circulating around on the net. It seems a little late for such action and a little odd that the letter did not come from a lawyer but we shall see what happens. My guess is RSE doesn't really want to get these people in trouble, just get them to stop their actions. Good luck.

May I add aswell the email didn't come from a lawyer since It would cost them money, lots of money and It'll be easyer to get them to stop before going to lawyers. =) ------------------

Must be some sort of conspiracy. LoL! Blah! Right on cheaters suck and can't play for shit so they haft to go use cheater programs like people haft to go take drugs since they can't handle normal sasicity. ------------------

There saying there not modifying any files. But yet isn't Modifying the RogueSpear.EXE memory allocations Modifying it??? Hmmm ------------------

I have decided to write Chris Olson on this issue. There is only 1 site down not the MAIN site unfortunatly. I have writtin this in hope of some light, ""I have loved the games Redstorm has released. I own every copy they have released. ------------------

Under no circumstances shall you, the end-user, be permitted, allowed or authorized to commercially exploit the Software, or any portion thereof...", "In any other manner and through any medium whatsoever commercially exploit the Software or use the Software for any commercial purpose." and "Modify, disassemble, reverse engineer or decompile the Software." they are making profit from RSE's game ------------------

Damn Drunk. Right out of the EULA. Thats a hunt if I ever seen one. Regardless of what he call his program "Trainer or Hack" He is violating Rules of the EULA. He should be Delt with further ------------------

Red Storm is doing the right thing by asking the idiot hackers to stop ruining the on-line play experience of "Rogue Spear" for those who buy the game and want to play it. Simple as that. The cheating must stop. Cheating disgraced the Chicago White Sox in 1919, tarnishing the careers of many ball players and leaving a sour, metallic taste in the mouth of most Americans who loved the game. Now in the on-line games of the 21st Century, cheating is encouraged and ardently defended by a vocal minority that claims: "Hey, everybody's doing it! Lighten up!" ------------------

RSE was actually concerned that they community would not support them if they sent the cease and desist order. I am sure they are pleased to see nothing but a resounding "hoo-ray!" supporting their actions. ------------------
