You think thats sad? I have just been told by Ubisoft to remove the Ghost Recon images from that report. And here was me trying to give the product some free promotion using images already in public circulation. ------------------

On what grounds? The images are from a magazine scan correct? Its not from a beta copy or anything like that that you are under an NDA right? Bah if you're feeling frisky tell em to shove it and that you feel your posting conforms with Title 17 Chap1. Sec 107 of US Copyright law. Then again if your in the UK then it may be different laws but I bet there is a similiar stipulation that references news posting non profit etc postings ------------------

Yes, the images are already in the public domain, and RSE had already granted me image reproduction rights (albeit not *specifically* Ghost Recon), and IDG magazines were not enforcing their own copyright protection, so there was a case for leaving the images up. I didn't see the point in picking a fight with Ubi though; if they don't want the free publicity (1000+ page views every day) its their loss - makes no diff to me at all. ------------------
