For those of you following the game industry, you can't help but notice that Ubi Soft has been buying up developers left and right (including our beloved RSE ;-) over the past year. (Seems to be a trend ... look at how many studios Microsoft and Vivendi have swallowed up.) Well, looks like their strategy is paying off and they're reporting that for financial year 2000/2001, net sales are up by +39.4%. This is in stark contrast with many tech/software firms that are biting the dust lately. They'll likely continue to do well with such titles as Myst III coming out this season. Check out their press release here care of Voodoo Extreme. Sooo ... this is an exciting time for R6 series fans, especially with the announcement about RS: Black Thorn.
