Even if you weren't one of the lucky people who got to go to E3 this year, you can experience some of what happened there thanks to the 'net (and a broadband connection sure helps ;-) Anyways, Ubi Soft has posted some video interviews (using RealPlayer) on their E3 site here. Good to see that Darren Chukitus, who was the producer of the R6 Mission Pack: Eagle Watch, is heading up Ghost Recon. (The producer of R6 and RS, Carl Schnurr, was reported to be working on a yet unannounced PS2 game.) Mr. Chukitus talks about the difference between the R6 series and Ghost Recon -- i.e. R6 focuses on close quarters battle and GR is a war game - thus the description that GR is "Rainbow Six goes to war". Also, check out the interview with Ubi Soft CEO Yves Guillemot who has high praises for Ghost Recon.
