Bill Brown, the composer of the music heard in every installment of the R6 series, has announced in an interview with Muse's Muse that he will indeed by composing the music for Ghost Recon! That's great news as the magnificent atmospheric anthems that sound everytime I fire up R6/RS still stir the old heart-strings :-) Bill has had a great relationship with Red Storm over the years, and has composed music for the majority of RSE's titles. I'm glad to see that although he has been composing for big-budget Hollywood movies, that he still writes music for the games industry. In fact, many more will be hearing Bill's music as this interview reveals he's doing the music for the new system sounds in Microsoft's next OS, WindowsXP! If you haven't visited Bill Brown's site lately, make sure you do, as it is totally revamped and looks great!

EBworld has GR's release date at 10/01/01 and Gamespot.com has it at 11/01/01. Is it possible that GR could be out before december? ------------------

>Is it possible that GR could be out before december? Yes, it's possible that GR can come out before Dec if everything goes smoothly with the development. However, unforseen things do happen, but RSE is big enough now and has enough staff and resources to likely stay on schedule. RSE has given itself a wide target by saying "Q4 2001" which means Oct-Dec, but I'm sure Ubi Soft would love the game to come out well before Christmas, which is when companies make the most $$$. RSE has a good track record of having major releases making it out before X-mas: ------------------
