If you're a regular visitor to the RSE Forums, you'll know that the Rainbow Six forum has been a big mix of R6 and Ghost Recon related threads. Red Storm has finally created a seperate Ghost Recon forum. Red Storm monitors these forums for input and ideas, so make sure you drop by!

could someone do me a favor and post this line of questions in the Ghost Recon Forums. Whenever I try to post something it says "no access" even though I have an account and am logged in. Or if you could tell me the problem that would be cool.

-I just had a couple of questions regarding Ghost Recon.

1) With the addition of grenade launchers to some of the "main" weapons in the game (M-16 and OICW right?) how do you see this affecting online gameplay? Example, instead of firefights, we just have grenade lobbing contests.

2) Are some of the more advanced features of the OICW going to be in the game? I am aware of the fact that the scope camera will not be in the game, but specifically the options for the grenade launcher such as detonate on impact, detonate at certain range, detonate after impact (for shooting grenades through doors and windows).

3) Are night vision goggles actually visible on the soldiers? Also, will night vision be a selectable gear item, or is it issued to everyone regardless?

4) In a game like Ghost Recon where there will be armored vehicles, helicopters, etc. both helping and opposing you, is it technically feasible to have those armored vehicles controled by another player playing another game. For instance say Force 21 and Ghost Recon were in development at the same time and designed with this in mind, would it be possible and practical to allow these games to interact in online multi player? I think the possibility of more than one genre of game interacting online is pretty interesting and appealing and has been left relatively untouched by developers. It also might help less popular, but very good games such as Force 21 build larger online communities by piggy backing on the popularity of something like the r6 series. Has Redstorm ever went through the possibilities of something like this?
