Well its been about a month since CO has been released and all the Euro gamers are still waiting for UO. IMHO i think this is a poor show from Redstorm/UbiSoft, they posted on the forum about 2 months ago that they where trying to push through the "legal difficulties" with its supplier but we have seen nothing, with this in mind is it likely we are going to see Covert Ops in a year? Super. Also if RSE Does release Rainbow 3 we are gonna be way behind you guys (USA/Asia), maybe 6 months/1 year .

Everyone keeps complaining about but I am sure RSE is doing what they can. Don't you think they want the sales from Europe? They are probably just as bummed as you.

Anyways, couldn't you order the US version of UO online and play it?

Got quoted 40$. 15 for the game and 25 for delivery, To be honest, alot of people have had problems cross installing versions of US UO and Euro RS, i don't know if i wanna risk it.

What about buying CO?

It is not an add-on, so you won't have to fool with cross-installing.

COE doesn't personally appeal to me, i really want some new maps, with the campaigns, with things like classic maps which catches my attention. COE is a training CD with 3 campaign maps (is that correct?) and some other additional maps, it just doesn't stand out as much as playing the old maps such as estate and hacienda.

Gotta agree with the drunk ... uh ... I mean Drunk. COE spends a lot of room & effort on the "factoids" side, but not much on the game side. However, the 3 campaign maps (if you can call 3 a campaign) are nice. The jungle map is probably the best I've seen in an outdoor set-up and the ICBM site provides a lot of open space for those who have been looking for long-distance missions.

Is it worth the $30 ... probably not, unless your addicted.

30$ + postage to the UK, hmm maybe not .

Snicker if someone from Europe wins the siggy contest will you be willing to send the prize across the ocean? A lot of RS contests are aimed and the US/Canada community and aren't willing to.

Drunk,

The one with the guy taking a "squat" and the camption "that was close" ... the others were pretty damn funny too, but I've got a kid so I need to keep it at least PG.
