Multiplayer:
Multiplayer
in MCM2 can be done via TCP/IP, LAN, Serial Connection, and the infamous Zone.
The gamelay in multiplayer is the same as singleplayer with the exception of a
new type of race called tag. Tag is very fun, and there are several different
ways to play it. The first way to play is someone is “it” and everyone
chases after him. When someone touches him they become “it.” You can win
this type of game by being “it” for the longest. Another way is something
called tag ball where you go after the ball and have to hold onto it. With these
games there is something called stunt mode; only when you are “it” can you
do stunts to collect points. When playing on the Zone, it does take rather long
to load up a game, and you often get kicked. Another problem is a lot of people
only stay for one game, making it even more frustrating.
Checkered
Flag (Conclusion):
To
say the least, Rainbow Studios and Microsoft have done an excellent job in
putting out a thrilling game. There were only a few minor graphics glitches and
unusually long load times. The downloadable track editor is really fun and easy,
but you have to be an artist to use it. The game has kept me up many nights
playing online, and I still haven’t gotten tired of it. I would recommend you
purchase this game if you haven’t already. Other than that, I guess this is a
wrap.
