The Product
The QPS Que!Fire features the incorporation of the latest FireWire technology which sports out a nice 400Mbps transfer rate. It also includes the great Burn-Proof technology. For those that have never heard of Burn-Proof technology, let me explain it in brief detail. Burn-Proof technology is basically one of the greatest inventions for CD writers in my opinion. It does a great job of eliminating the creation of "coasters" by getting rid of buffer under run errors. It does this by actually stopping the CD creation process if you computer is not able to send enough data to keep up with the CD writer. In addition to pretty much eliminating coasters, it also opens up the possibility of actually being able to use your computer while a CD is burning. The Que!Fire comes with something that I have never seen before with an external CD Writer. It includes a nice handy carrying case which allows you to easily pack up all the cables, power, and CD's and pack them into the case for great portability.

The case surrounding the actual drive seems to be very sturdy. It is mainly composed of hard plasti. If you look through the right or left side of the outer case you can see the CD Writer inside of it.
