About:
In addition to touch screen control, I also wanted a wireless mobile
keyboard/mouse combo from which I could control the unit. After
searching around for quite some time, I ran across a company by
the name of Bluelogic. Their Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard, which
supports Windows 98 - XP operating systems, comes complete with
the keyboard and wireless Bluetooth controller. The Bluetooth controller
attaches directly to an available USB port, and the best part is
that it requires absolutely no drivers to install, it utilizes the
built-in HID USB drivers.
The Keyboard itself has 88 keys and 11 hot keys. From left to right
the hot keys complete the following functions: media player start,
pause/play, stop, mute, volume up, volume down, full screen view,
Internet Explorer, system sleep, Outlook Express, power off computer.
These function keys are hard coded and can not be changed. The keyboard
itself is very light and compact making it easy to carry around
and handle. The trackball features a ring built around it which
resists contaminants such as food and drink spilled on it.
