Pros: Engaging story line with all sorts of bad human behavior, and beautiful "hand drawn" backgrounds.
Cons: Lackluster sound and annoying control scheme. Puzzles are probably too simple for the target audience.

Overview:

Welcome to The Final Cut. Your name is Joseph Shamley, you're a private eye, and your fishing trip weekend just took a back seat to a bizarre and twisted tale of lies and betrayal. Robert Marvin-Jones is an eccentric millionaire obsessed with the works of Alfred Hitchcock, but when he tries to make a film to honor the famed Master of Suspense he finds he has a mystery of his own. The film crew is gone, vanished without a trace from the estate they've been secured within, and no one knows why-but hey, that's why his charmer of a niece, Alicia, hired you, right? You're a top-notch investigator remember? With your smooth P.I. style and a touch of psychic powers, you should have no trouble uncovering the shady things that have happened here.

Throw away your 3D glasses, your fancy mouse-pads and your twitch enhancing stimulants, this is an exploration and adventure game in the vein of Kings Quest, Phantasmagoria and D. For those of you who have forgotten (or never were a part of) those good old times, this means you move your character around a setting, going from room to room or building to building, checking every drawer, every cupboard, every dead body you come across. What you get in return is an item for your inventory: evidence, a clue, or anything else that might tell you where to go next. Step by step in The Final Cut, you'll reconstruct the events surrounding the disappearance of the film crew until the mystery is solved-all with a touch of brainwork and a minimum of fragging.

Let me a little rant about gameplay
