 :: Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer

Compare and Contrast
(Head-on with Logitech's MouseMan Wheel USB)

Compare with the famous Logitech MouseMan Wheel USB, the first mouse with thumb button). As you can see, the Intellimouse Explorer is just a bit larger in size. You may notice that the thumb buttons on the Intellimouse Explorer is mounted higher. You may get a bit uncomfortable with the location of the thumb buttons, since you are required to move your thumb in order to reach them, a bit awkward. As for the Logitech Mouse, it is located so your thumb will easily rest, so you can press it quickly without delay.

Due to the fact that the Logitech mouse is using the old "ballz" technology, it was not as smooth like the Intellimouse Explorer; it tends to have drag while your moving. For beginners with the Intellimouse Explorer, you may feel that the mouse is somewhat too smooth, since most of us are already used to the drag that was created by the ball.
