640x480, 4x FSAA

FSAA - What's all the fuss about?
The Voodoo 5 5500 is one of the first, if not the first graphics cards to offer 4x FSAA through a hardware solution. Simply put, image quality using FSAA is outstanding. Games that have always had a jagged feel to them suddenly look like they have been completely revised and updated to a new edition. At low resolutions, such as 800x600 4xFSAA provided me with image quality that met, if not exceeded what I had been seeing at 1600x1200 on my TNT 2 Ultra. FSAA smoothes the edges of all the objects on the screen by using fancy algorithms and other stuff that I can't explain. 3dfx included a nice white paper on FSAA from the guys at Beyond3d. Check out some of the stuff at Beyond3d if you want to know more of the techno mumbo jumbo. FSAA is most apparent at low resolutions and can drastically improve game quality for those of you who still run your games at 800x600 or even 640x480 but is useful at the higher resolutions if your computer can hang with it. In RS:UO the image quality improvement at 800x600 and 640x480 was almost jaw dropping. The following screens will hopefully convey to you the difference FSAA makes in image quality.

Let's rap it up
