It is the end of the day on 9 August 2003. The day passed rather uneventfully. It was a day of relaxation, as all Saturdays should be. Although I did more than just sleep; I finished reading J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings Return Of The King, and also started reading Tom Clancy's Red Rabbit.
Return Of The King was pretty good, right up until the end. I found it far too depressing of an ending, and I felt that it did not give the whole adventure justice and a due ending. In regards to Red Rabbit, I find Tom Clancy's books to be very hard to get into, yet once you've gotten through they are very exciting. I am just going to read it until I can read no longer, either through sheer boredom or until there are no more written pages. |
