The Undiscovered Country

Well, I have almost officially graduated from community college. I say almost because grades aren't posted until later today for the spring quarter. I'm not worried about failing or anything, and I have now completed all my credits for my A.A. degree. In two weeks I'll officially have received my degree from the college, and in August I'll receive my printed diploma. So now I look forward on to the next part of my life.

Central Washington University awaits. I enroll for my classes in July, and classes begin sometime in September. I'm going to study toward a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design, and maybe a Master Of Fine Art in Computer Art (depending on whether I'm completely poor after the BFA, or just moderately poor). I'm anxious about getting started because I love working with graphics and I can't wait to start working at a firm and getting my work out there on shi-stuff you buy.

I really want to get into the film industry though. To be honest I would quit a secure job at a graphics firm in a second if I were offered a job as even an Assistant to the Director for a hollywood production. I like to write screenplays and have a sufficient bank of ideas and stories to draw from. It is something that has frustrated my family to various degrees depending on the person. But I'll work through that eventually.

Now that I'm out of college for the summer I'll get all the stuff for the site finished up. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Later - Rob

I am coming to the end of my time in community college. I have two weeks of classes left and then I will receive my Associate of Arts so I can transfer to a university. When I do that I will be leaving my friends and family behind and going to a dormitory at Central Washington University to begin the rest of my education and pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art's in Graphic Design. In response to that I have redesigned my website and putting up my portfolio and included a new section about my life which I will use to update things I've been doing and life at the university. Take care and continue checking for updates as there will be many in the next couple weeks as I get everything back online. - Rob
