SHORT BIO: My name is Rob Holts. I usually go by "Talon" on the internet. I'm 21 years old right now and an artist and college student. I'm currently planning to attend Central Washington University starting in September where I will pursue a BFA in Graphic Design. I've been raised in Olympia, Washington my entire life. I was born here at St. Peter's Hospital. I am currently in my last quarter of Community College at South Puget Sound C.C. where I studied toward an Associate of Art in General Education. I'm very into films, and I want to become a Director in Hollywood eventually. I enjoy writing films and I have a large bank of stories I have written to draw from. Both my best friends Joel and Steve are into film as well. Both want to go to Hollywood as well. I also like music a lot. I play guitar and write songs. I mostly listen to Hard Rock and Metal and Linkin Park is my favorite band. Email: talon@3dretreat.com New news in my life: Last Day of Work Posted on 06/03/2004 at 6:23 PM PST This is my last day of work at the SPSCC newspaper the Sounds. I'm about to finish layout of the last issue and take off. I put in 9 straight hours with only a single break of five minutes. I've enjoyed the job but soon it's off to Ellensburg. "When you come to a fork in the road, take it." Posted on 06/01/2004 at 1:00 PM PST I am coming to the end of my time in community college. I have two weeks of classes left and then I will receive my Associate of Arts so I can transfer to a university. When I do that I will be leaving my friends and family behind and going to a dormitory at Central Washington University to begin the rest of my education and pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art's in Graphic Design. In response to that I have redesigned my website and putting up my portfolio and included a new section about my life which I will use to update things I've been doing and life at the university. Take care and continue checking for updates as there will be many in the next couple weeks as I get everything back online. - Rob |
